Friday, March 28, 2003 10:15 PM   WOW! Had some serious Ben and Jerry's. Tried this Cashew flavor. mmm....kinda sweet as there was a lot of caramel in it. Anyway, I don't want to sit and rant about Miami...its now been a week since the trip. All you need to know is that it was slammin'.... I felt very productive as I set up some meetings and did some positive shmoozing versus the usual drunken debauchery each night. This year, I only got boozed up once... maybe a lil bit dere' on Sat night too. I more enjoyed unwiinding in the huge outdoor hot tub late night each night. mmmmmmmmmmmm. So, soon I go to the gig at this little club called Metronome in the heart of Burlington. Vermont. It's a really fun place to play. I'll probably play for 2.5-3 hours. Good time. N Thursday, March 13, 2003 7:35 PM   Lucky me! hate to rub it in....well, no, actually I dont mind rubbing it in. I'm in Austin texas. I landed to a pleasant 87 degrees. Im here for the SXSW conference...a gig. Should be cool. Im about to go mingle and work the Diesel and Maxim parties for some free shiznit. then off to the gig! I sat in the worst possible seat ever invented on an airplane to Atlanta. Good times! Seat 38B on an MD-88 on delta is no fun. Middle seat, last row that doesn't recline, NO WINDOW! Next to the jet means good vibrations. It was lovely. Thansk to jason from Travel 2000 for making that happen. :) No sweat though... gotta suffer in peasant class once in a while... cant always bling it first class on Usairways. Im here in NYC tonight. Just finished playing the Tronic Treatment He is a good bud of mine. He always enjoys some old school bidness. So I obliged. We rocked out to some EON, Fear is the Mindkiller, Speedy J, Something For Your Mind, and the ever classic Red PLanet, Star Dancer. Ahhhhh. Felt good. Dara is gonna come to Philthy just to hang out one night. We can hang out, chat about funny scat videos and throw food at the waitress at a fancy restaurant. IT will be fun. And here is the cool news. John Selway did an amazing record with the vocal hook, "New York City.....Get High In New York City". Its like techno disco shit. It rocks! I JOCK IT! Tonight, he asked me to do a remix! WOO HOO! THats slamin! And so, I gave him a copy of my new Radiohead bootleg after I played it. I'll be proud to have him play it in Germany and Japan...he is a big star worldwide. gew gew. BIG STAR! So, I guess its time for bed. PS....this ugly penis is DARA! Monday, March 03, 2003 4:35 PM   Yep...be jealous. I'm in New Orleans. However, it is really crappy out....raining. So, I went to the hotel gym, worked on the back. Gotta get the miami body for WMC! lol... nah, who cares. Its good to be fit, though. Especially at MY AGE! OOPH! So, Charles (feelgood) and Micro are missing in action, no doubt boozing it up at some watering hole. I'm hiding out a bit.... looking for lunch but trying not to drink, yet at least. Tonight, Damian (aka dieseltoy) is coming in along with our booking agent, Joel, and its gonna be ON! I am not sure if I will dirnk or not. See, this is my 8th year here. Man, I'm old. So, I have experienced plenty of Mardi Gras drunk... and a few sober. Might go for the sober one this year. Got an early flight Tues. Well, I had a great time here in Cinci tonight. I played lots of 80z shiznit and bootlegs. I got to try out my Radiohead and New Order remixes. My good pal Shiva liked them...so thats good. Another DJ liking trax means more than the usual drunkards. Speaking of drunkards, man.... Ohio peeps drink PLENTY -I mean, there were women falling into eachother and bouncing off the walls. It was funny. Juiced up guidos all drunk too. Man! Well, maybe its just that I was totally sober so it all seems different when you are fully coherent. :) Well, more soon. Just a lil update fo yo ass!
